4. Who do we share your data with?
- Our website provider (Wubloo, Hoofdvogel BV) and the hosting and email services it uses. They only process your data on our behalf. The website and the data you enter in forms are stored in the European Union.
- Payment services, if you pay online, only to process the payment.
- Accountant, carriers and authorities, when needed for your order or required by law.
- Analytics and advertising services such as Google or Meta, only if you accept those cookies.
If a service provider operates (partly) outside the European Economic Area, this only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long do we keep your data?
We keep data from a question or contact request for up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to a contract. Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, is kept for as long as the law requires.
6. How do we protect your data?
The website uses a secure connection (https) and access to your data is limited to the people who need it.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use:
- Necessary cookies and local storage: to make the website work (for example your shopping cart or language choice) and to remember your cookie choice. No consent is needed for these.
- Analytics and marketing cookies: to measure how the website is used and to improve our communication. We only place these after you accept them in the cookie banner.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the website. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to the processing. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us at Xander@vitology.be. We reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when the website or the law changes. The version on this page always applies.
